Privacy policy

What we collect

Nothing. Kinetra has no account, no analytics, no tracking and no telemetry. We do not receive your scripts, projects, pictures or videos.

When the app uses the internet

• Model downloads: on the first run, and when you add a model, Kinetra downloads AI models from Hugging Face and GitHub. Those services see your IP address, as with any download.
• Online voices: narration in a voice marked “online” (the Microsoft Edge voices, used for Arabic and most languages other than English) is sent as text to Microsoft's speech service to be spoken. The English voices run on your Mac. You can turn online voices off in Settings › General.
• AI assistants: Kinetra's MCP server listens only on your Mac (127.0.0.1). An assistant you connect, such as Claude, Codex or Cursor, may send what you ask it to its own provider under that provider's policy.

Where your work is kept

Projects, pictures and clips: ~/Library/Application Support/app.movyra.kinetra. Exported videos: ~/Movies/Kinetra. Delete them at any time; uninstalling the app and those folders removes everything.

This website

The site sets no cookies except your language choice, and remembers your light or dark choice in your browser. Our hosting provider keeps standard access logs (IP address, page, time) for security.

Children

Kinetra is not directed to children under 13 and collects no information from anyone.
