Using Kinetra

You may install and use Kinetra on Macs you own or control. The videos you make are yours to use, publish and sell, subject to these terms and the model licences below.

Your content

You are responsible for what you make and publish with Kinetra, including the ideas, scripts, images and voices you give it, and for having the rights to them.

What you may not do

Kinetra's AI models come with use restrictions their authors require us to pass on. You agree not to use Kinetra, or what it makes, to:

  • break any law, or harm or exploit minors;
  • make content meant to harass, defame, threaten or deceive, including disinformation and impersonating real people without their consent;
  • make sexual content involving real people without their consent, or any content involving minors;
  • discriminate against people or groups, or make decisions about people's rights, jobs, credit or housing;
  • do anything the model licences below or the Gemma Prohibited Use Policy forbid.

Model licences

  • SANA image models: Apache 2.0; their text encoder (Gemma 2): the Gemma Terms of Use and Prohibited Use Policy.
  • LTX-Video (animation): the LTX-Video Open Weights License. Companies with annual revenue of US$10 million or more need a commercial licence from Lightricks to use it.
  • Kokoro voices, Qwen3, Depth Anything V2: Apache 2.0. Florence-2, Animated Drawings, ISNet: MIT / Apache 2.0. Real-ESRGAN: BSD-3. FFmpeg: LGPL 2.1.
  • The app lists every licence in full under Settings › About.

No warranty

Kinetra is provided “as is”. AI output can be wrong, odd or unlike what you asked for: check what you publish. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from using it.
