Questions, answered.
Do I need an internet connection?
Once, for the models: on first launch Kinetra downloads them (about 18 GB) in the background. After that, writing, drawing, animating, narration with an offline English or French voice, and rendering work offline. Online voices, including Arabic, need a connection.
Which Mac do I need?
A Mac with Apple Silicon. More memory means faster, bigger pictures; Kinetra detects your hardware and offers Eco, Balanced and Quality modes.
Can I edit the video after it's made?
Yes — that's the point. Every scene keeps its narration, picture, motion and voice. Change any of them, or describe the change in words, and only that scene is made again.
Which languages are supported?
Narration supports Arabic, English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Turkish. English and French have offline voices; Arabic and the other languages use online voices. Captions and built-in translation support Arabic and English.
Which formats can I export?
YouTube 16:9 and vertical 9:16 for Reels, Shorts and TikTok, at 1080p, 2K or 4K.
Is there a Windows version?
Kinetra is available for macOS today. Windows support is planned.
